Leadership Walks

Leadership Walks are geared towards establishing a leadership role between you and your dog, which is an essential part of doggy/human co-existence. At PAWS 2 GO, we establish and nurture this relationship to ensure a proper “pack” mentality, thus establishing YOU as the “leader.” By using the correct leash (length and type), monitoring your dog’s body language, and other techniques, your dog will look to you for leadership, thereby creating a more stable and well-balanced relationship between the two of you resulting in a happier dog in the end.

A Leadership Walk is when “pack leader” and dog are walking simultaneously side by side without the dog walking ahead.
